The Lady Chiefs split a double header with Sidney on Saturday at Bluejacket Park losing the first game 1-0 and winning the second game 6-2.
The first game was a pitching gem that went into extra innings. The Chiefs took charge of the second game to earn the split.

Ohio Hi-Point Career Center’s Cosmetology Program will sponsor a “Cut-a-Thon” on Thursday, May 15, from 9 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the students’ educational trip to Chicago, where they will attend a hair show and take classes, as well as learn about the latest trends and styles and new products. Ethan Parker led Sunderhaus Insurance with a Grand Slam one of his two hits. Austin Parker also hit a home run. Kyle Levan hit a pair of doubles, while Isaac Roby and Kylee Morrison also doubled.
Alyia McCoy tripled and Tyler Roberts doubled for Logan County Co-op. Katie Burden turned in an outstanding defensive game.
