The teams shot the lights out in the first half, racing out to a 40-40 tie after one half. Urbana shot 51.5% from the field, while LMU knocked down 44.4% of their attempts.
The Blue Knights picked up their defensive intensity in the second half, holding the Railsplitters to just 25 points on 25% shooting. A Sarah Branham 3-point play gave Urbana a double-digit lead with about 6 minutes to play and the Blue Knights coasted to an 11-point victory.
