Roy E. Tallman

Roy E. Tallman, 90, of Zanesfield, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Hospice of Palm Beach County in Delray Beach, FL.
He was born on March 12, 1917 in Zanesfield, OH to the late Charles C. and Louvene (Rudisill) Tallman.
On September 24, 1942 he married Alberta B. Fergus in Bellefontaine, OH and she preceded him in death on July 2, 1990. Also preceding him in death is a daughter, Carol Lea Tallman; brothers, Earl and Charles Tallman; a sister, Mozelle Detwiler; and a grandson.
He is survived by his daughters, Jerry Lou (Lowell) Brose of Mt. Victory, OH, Alice Mae (Ron) Powell of Boyton Beach, FL, and Jo Anna (Joe) Johnson of Cincinnati, OH; a sister, Mary E. Roberts of Rushsylvania, OH; and five grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Roy worked at T.C. Vanicia Co. and later worked as a union plumber retiring on April 1, 1979.
A member of the Zanesfield United Methodist Church, Roy was a WWII Army veteran. He liked all sports and was an avid golfer and played until two years ago.
In keeping with the wishes of the deceased, there will be no viewing. However, the family will host an evening of sharing memories and celebrating his life to be held Tuesday evening, February 2nd, from 6:30 to 8:30 at the Zanesfield United Methodist Church social room. A graveside service will be held at the Zanesfield Cemetery on Wednesday, February 3rd at 11:00 am with Pastor Bonnie Frost officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Zanesfield United Methodist Church, 2880 Main St., Zanesfield, OH 43360 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Leota “Maude” Henry

Leota “Maude” Henry, 80, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at The Ohio State University Medical Center.
She was born on May 31, 1929 in Logan County, OH to the late Herman and Mary (Clingerman) LeVan.
On October 13, 1947 she married Donald “Jack” Henry in Rushsylvania, OH and he preceded her in death on December 10, 1991. Also preceding her in death is a brother, John Henry LeVan.
Surviving is a son, Brian J. (Tami) Henry of West Liberty; two daughters, Vicki A. (Jon) Hutchins of Bellefontaine and Dixie J. (Tom) Albrecht of Loveland, OH; a sister, Helen Holycross of Bellefontaine; five grandchildren, Andy and Kyle Hutchins, Melissa, Micha and Rebecca Henry; a great grandson, Brock Anthony Millis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
At 1947 graduate of East Liberty High School, Maude worked at Westinghouse and CTS. Known to everyone as Aunt Maude, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine; the Methodist Women’s Society and enjoyed working and volunteering at the church. She enjoyed baking, cooking and spending time with her family.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine on Friday, January 29th. Rev. Ed Beale will conduct a funeral service at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 30th at the First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the East Liberty Cemetery.

Wendell Lee Jenkins, 55, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the Lima Memorial Hospital.
He was born on March 13, 1954 in Springfield, OH to the late John L. Jr. and Annetta (Wagner) Jenkins.
He married Patricia Elliott in Springfield, OH and she survives along with sons, Jamie, Wendell Patrick and Lance Jenkins all of Bellefontaine and Josh Elliott of Springfield; daughters, Sarah Jenkins of Bellefontaine and Jessica Jenkins of Quincy; brothers; Edward (Susan), Kevin (Jenny), James (Peggy), Ward and Rex Jenkins all of Springfield and David (Louise) Jenkins of Lubbock, TX; sisters, Anita Jenkins, Daphne (Richard) Turner and Robyn Jenkins all of Springfield, India (Gene) Adams of Georgia and Gail (Lenard) Sandoval of Colorado; six grandchildren and three on the way. Brother, Jay L. Jenkins and sister, Tracey Lynn Jenkins precedes him in death.
Wendell worked as a Supervisor, taking care of rest areas along the Ohio highways. He enjoyed fishing, camping, watching football, and music, but he loved spending time with his grandchildren the best.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 30th at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine with Pastor Bryan Meadows officiating. Friends may call prior to the service on Saturday from 12 noon to 2:00 pm.

Millie L. Collins

Millie L. Collins, 74, of East Liberty and formerly of Lakeview, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2010 at Heartland of Bellefontaine.
She was born on July 18, 1935 in Bellefontaine, OH to the late Albert M. and Edith “Juanita” (Richards) Phillips.
On October 11, 1952, she married Curtis E. Collins in Lakeview, OH and he survives along with their son and daughter, Mark (Diana) Collins of East Liberty and Cheryl (Jim) Nicholl of Bellefontaine.
Also surviving are three brothers, Frank Phillips of Bellefontaine, Albert (Sue) Phillips II of Foley, AL and Mike (Lorae) Phillips of Casstown, OH; grandchildren, Kris (Chasity) Nicholl, Ryan Collins, Katrina (Jonathan) Daniels and Nikki (Zach) Wahrer; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was a retired cook from the Lakeview Elementary school.
A member of the First Church of God in Bellefontaine and a former Sunday school teacher, she was member of the Women of the Church of God. She was an avid Ohio State University football and basketball fan. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with the family and loved attending the grandchildren events.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, January 28th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine where Pastors Ron Irick and Ray Headings will conduct a funeral service at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 29th. Burial will follow in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Pamela A. Horne, 62, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
She was born on May 7, 1947 in Bellefontaine, OH to the late Richard T. Newland and Catherine M. (Morgan) Newland and she survives in Bellefontaine.
On June 2, 1965 she married Ronald J. Horne in Bellefontaine and he survives along with their sons, Bradley Scott (Missy) Horne, Brandon R. and R.J. Horne all of Bellefontaine; a brother and sister, Rick Newland and Lori Geho both of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Jordan Horne of Zanesfield, and Christopher, Shelby, Halley, Kelly and Dennis Horne all of Bellefontaine; and a special nephew, Dustin Geho of Columbus.
Pam retired from Nash Finch after 22 years of service. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. An Ohio State Football fan, she enjoyed watching NASCAR races and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Byron L. Bondurant, 84, of Soldotna, AK, formerly of the Waynesfield and Wapakoneta area, passed away at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, January 24, 2010, at The Friendship Village of Columbus.
He was born in Lima, Ohio on November 11, 1925, a son of the late Earl Smith and Joy Konetz Gesler Bondurant. He also was preceded in death by brothers, Don, Sherwood, Dale & Robert, and a stillborn son, Alan Clay Bondurant.
On February 28, 1944 in Waynesfield he married the former Lovetta “Betty" Alexander Bondurant and she survives along with daughters, Connie Jane Jaycox of Columbus and Cindy Lynn (Bill) Oxyer of Mechanicsburg; a son, Richard Thayne (Brenda Jean) Bondurant of Corinth, Vermont; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 11 nieces and nephews.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a graduate of Ohio State University. He received his Masters degree from the University of Connecticut and he studied for his PHD at Purdue University. He worked for the Peace Corp while in Sierra Leone and in Somalia for the United Nations and in India for the Ford Foundation and U.S.A.I.D. He was a professor at the Universities of Connecticut, Delaware and was the Department Head of Agricultural Engineering in Maine.
Pastor Bryan Meadows officiates a funeral at 11 a.m. Friday, January 29, 2009 in the Myron Van Horn Chapel of Sanford-Eichholtz Funeral Home, Lakeview, where visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial is in Willow Branch Cemetery near Waynesfield. Graveside services will also be for his brothers, Dale & Robert in conjunction with Mr. Bondurant’s burial.

James “Jim” W. Stanley, 58, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2010.
He was born in St. Paris, OH on June 28, 1951 to the late Don and Virginia (Kress) Stanley.
He is survived by sons, D.J. Stanley of Springfield and Bill (Jennifer) Stanley of Bellefontaine; a sister, Rosemary (Al) Macioce of Sidney; grandchildren, Shelby, Luke, Gavin and Mason; and a niece, Gina Marie Macioce of Sidney.
Jim worked at International Harvester and worked in construction as a bricklayer.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam War, he was a member of the Bellefontaine American Legion Post #173 and the Bellefontaine Moose Lodge.
Pastor Bryan Meadows will conduct a memorial service at 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Military rites will be conducted by the Logan County Veterans Honor Guard.

Melinda Kay Maxwell

Melinda Kay Maxwell, 61, of Bellefontaine, passed away Wednesday, January 6th, 2010 at Mary Rutan Hospital.
She was born October 25th, 1948 in Bellefontaine. Mrs. Maxwell retired from Wal-Mart in 2008 after several years of service. Survivors include her husband Donald Lee; daughter and son-in-law Kara Lynn (Dennis) Searfoss; son and daughter-in-law Owen (Renee) Maxwell; sisters and brothers-in-law Sandy (Fred) Kysenceder, Diane ”Cricket” (David) Vance, Jeri (Joe) Dionne; brothers and sisters-in-law Mike (Johnna) Colyer and Tim Colyer; grandchildren Ashley and Taylin Searfoss, Maya and Roman Maxwell.
Funeral services were held Monday, January 11th at 6 p.m. at Kevin F. Jennings Funeral Home, 5591 US Rt. 68 South, West Liberty, Ohio. Interment was in Highland Memorial Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
William A. Cane, Jr.

William A. Cane, Jr., 62, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at The Ohio State University Medical Center.
He was born on December 9, 1947 in Lima, OH to the late William A. Sr. and Mary E. (Clark) Cane. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Cane and a sister, Constance Croston.
Surviving is a brother, Elder Rockey (Evangelist Karen) Cane of Bellefontaine; sisters, Marcia Johnson and Christine (Larry Applin) Cane both of Bellefontaine; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
A U.S. Army veteran, he was a self-employed contractor and had worked for BLH in Lima. He attended Buckeye Local Schools and was an avid BINGO player and in his younger days was an avid softball player.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 21st at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine with Larry Guy Adams and Elder Rockey Cane officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 pm prior to the service on Thursday.

Roberto “Bob” Lopez

Roberto “Bob” Lopez, 42, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2010 after a courageous 12-year battle with renal failure resulting in chronic medical complications at Elizabeth Place, a hospice center located in Dayton, OH.
Bob was an adventurous soul and followed his dream to see the world by joining the military. He made the ultimate sacrifice by serving in the Gulf War where he sustained injures resulting in major health problems. Anne Berg-Lightle donated her kidney to Bob in the summer of 2008.
Despite spending much of the last four years of his life in hospitals, he enjoyed life and brought smiles to the faces of his caregivers. Through his struggles, his unselfishness shined through and he still gave the gift of laughter to many.
He was born on July 11, 1967 in Phoenix, AZ to Roy and Elena (Espinosa) Lopez who survives in Queen Creek, AZ. On February 15, 2007 he married Kelly Kellogg in Gilbert, AZ and she survives. Also surviving is his 12-year-old son Rian Lopez, sisters Dalia and Angie, a brother Sam, and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine from 4 to 7. Full Military Honors will take place in the near future at the Dayton National Cemetery where Sergeant Lopez will be laid to rest along with his fellow comrades in arms.

Ralph L. Boots, 87, of West Liberty, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 9:35 p.m. at Green Hills Center in West Liberty. He was born on June 27, 1922 in Xenia Township, Xenia, Ohio to the late Samuel and Marietta Funk Boots. On February 19, 1944 he married the former Martha Jane Semler and she preceded him in death on December 5, 2004.
A farmer, Mr. Boots was a member and trustee of the Zanesfield United Methodist Church, as well as a member of the Ohio Farm Bureau, Grange and the Greene County 4-H Committee.
Survivors include a son; Doug (Vicky) Boots of West Liberty; 3 grandchildren, Brent (Sheila) Boots of West Liberty, Kristy (Jay) Ackley and Brad Boots both of East Liberty; 4 great grandsons; a sister, Lois Jean Bailey of Yellow Springs and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lula Harner and Grace Ferguson.

Albert F. “Bus” Page, 89, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Heartland of Bellefontaine.
He was born on January 23, 1920 in Springfield, OH to the late Harry Page and Ethel (Strickland) Nawman.
On February 12, 1946 he married Beulah Randall in Logan County and she preceded him in death on July 30, 2006. Also preceding him in death is a son, Clifford Page and his twin brother, Arnold “Dick” Page.
Surviving are two sons, Larry Lee Page of North Lewisburg and Albert Walter “Junior” (Holly) Page of Sidney; and three grandchildren, David Page, John and Laura VanFossen.
Bus worked for The United Telephone Company and retired after 32 years of service and later he worked 10 years for Super Foods as a security guard.
A United States Army Veteran serving in WWII, he was a member of the United Church of Christ in West Liberty and a member of the Bellefontaine American Legion Post #173. He bowled for many years and loved animals.
Gene Marine will conduct a funeral service at 10:30 am on Saturday, January 16th at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine where friends may call on Friday, January 15th from 5 to 8. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty, with military services by the Logan County Veterans Honor Guard.

Richard D. Baker, 76, of Belle Center, passed away at Saturday, January 9, 2010 at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio.
He was born in Columbus on December 25, 1933, a son of the late Raymond and Florence Britton Baker. He also was preceded in death by a grandchild.
He married B. Jean Baker and she preceded him in death on March 27, 2007.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen (Keith) Jones, Gallaway, Ohio; sons, Richard Baker, Jr. of Greenwood, Indiana and James Baker of Antioch, Tennessee; sister, Delores Hay, South Vienna, Ohio; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
He formerly worked at Georgia Pacific in Savannah, Georgia and at the Marathon Car Wash in Russells Point.
He was a Marine veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Indian Lake Eagles #3615, Lakeview.
Per Mr. Baker’s request his body was cremated and no services are planned.
The Myron L. Van Horn Chapel of Sanford-Eichholtz Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Verna Mae Roush

After celebrating 95 years of life, Verna Mae Roush of De Graff is now celebrating eternity in Heaven with our lord. She left here at 6:30 PM on Saturday, January 9, 2010. She was a resident of Heartland of Bellefontaine for 8 years.
Born in Champaign County to Harry and Leatha Heminger on May 20, 1914, she moved to Zane Township in Logan County at an early age and was a 1932 graduate of Middleburg School. She married Arthur Roush on June 11, 1932 and he preceded her in death on July 3, 1996.
Verna is survived by two daughters, Jenean (Bud) Jackson of De Graff, Connie Myers of Roundhead, and a son, Arthur Roush Jr. of De Graff. She has three surviving brothers, Howard Heminger of Bellefontaine, Leo Heminger of West Liberty, and Herman Heminger of Alexandria, Louisiana. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, Skip (Amy) Jackson, David (Jean) Jackson, Jeanie (Ron) Weiskittle, Diana (Chuck) Gamble, Mike (Kathy) Myers, Alyson (Lawrence) Neely, Alan (Amy) Myers, Mike Hughes, Jennifer Hughes, Kurt (Jessica) Roush, and Katie (Mike) Long, along with 27 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. One daughter, Sharon Roush Hughes, preceded her in death. Also going before her were her son-in-law, Junior Myers, a grandson, Robert Myers, and two granddaughters, Judy Hughes and Debra Jackson. Two brothers, Donald and Robert Heminger, and a sister, Martha Norviel, preceded her in death.
Along with being a homemaker, Verna was involved in the real estate business for over 40 years, where she sold many homes and farms in and around the Logan County area. She was a member of the Gretna Brethren Church and a past member of the Farm Bureau. She loved her family dearly, along with her hobbies of crocheting, cooking, and fishing. Best known for her apple dumplings and home made noodles, she spent many of her later years baking pies and operating the restaurant at the Jackson livestock Auction in De Graff.
Pastor Lynn Mercer will conduct a funeral on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends Tuesday, January 12, 2010 from 3 to 8 p.m.

Mike Householder, 62, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine.
He was born on July 9, 1947 in Union City, Indiana, the son of Kenneth Householder who preceded him in death and Rosemary (Peltier) Householder who survives in St. Marys, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Judy (Gordon) Householder, whom he married on November 20, 1971 in Piqua, Ohio. Also surviving are five children; Todd (Becky) Householder of Troy, OH, Tina (Jeremy) Burrey, Kevin Householder, Donald (Keri) Householder, all of Bellefontaine, and Randy (Natalie) Householder of Columbus; three brothers, Ronald (Vickie) Householder of Gahanna, OH, Terry and Sue Householder of McCartyville, OH, and Tom Householder of St. Marys, OH; six grandchildren; Matt and Brooke Householder, Brady and Mya Burrey, Tyler Householder, and Blake Householder and another grandchild expected soon.
Mike had worked for Dayton Walther/Arvin Meritor for 43 years as a vehicle test supervisor. He was an active member of the Catholic Church, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a loving husband and father and was always full of life. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine, with a Prayer Service beginning at 5:45pm Tuesday provided by the Knights of Columbus #1782. A Mass of Christain Burial is scheduled for 10:30 am on Wednesday, January 13th at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bellefontaine with Father Patrick Sheridan officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty.

Sheryl Beth Soper, 51, of DeGraff, died at 4:07 PM Friday, January 8, 2010, at her home.
Born in New Castle, Indiana on October 6, 1958, a daughter of the late Richard Leo and Mary Helen Elizabeth Blanton McCall.
On October 14, 2006, she married Wayne "Soupy" Soper in Bellefontaine and he survives, along with sons; Joshua Abbott and Charles (Samantha) Abbott all of New Castle, IN; a daughter, Cheryl Abbott of Urbana; a brother, David McCall; four sisters, Teresa Hutton of Urbana, Cindy McCall of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Debbie Gustoffson and Sarah Beaird; three grandchildren, Michael, Elizabeth and Levi; nephews, Kaleb Johnson, Robert Collier, Jameson Collier and James Harley.
A homemaker, she also worked as a bookkeeper for her husband's business. She was a member of the Bellefontaine Apostolic Temple. She enjoyed animals, especially horses.
Pastor Tony Coy will conduct a funeral service at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home where visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Burial is in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.

Michael “Mike” H. Brown, 60, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Mary Rutan Hospital.
He was born on January 15, 1949 in Muncie, IN to the late Norado Hastings and Martha (Ehrhart) Brown.
On July 29, 1973 he married the love of his life Janet Yoder in Springfield. Janet survives along with a son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Jen (Yinger) Brown of Bellefontaine and a daughter, Julie Brown of St. Petersburg, FL; brothers, Don (Bev) Brown of Murrells Inlet, SC and Doug (Tricia) Brown of St. Paris, OH; sister, Linda Engel of St. Pete Beach, FL; his mother-in-law, Alyce Yoder of Bellefontaine; and many nieces and nephews.
Mike worked at Thomas & Marker Construction Company for 33 years on the masonry crew and retired in 2007.
A 1967 graduate of Bellefontaine High School, he was an Air Force veteran serving in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a member of the First Christain Church in Bellefontaine and a member of the Harold Kerr American Legion for more than 30 years. He was an excellent family man and loved sports, especially Chieftain Football. He had a love for animals and supported the Logan County Humane Society.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, January 10th from 2 to 6 at the Eichholtz Funeral Home in Bellefontaine. Pastor F. Michael Valentine will conduct a funeral service at 11:00 am on Monday, January 11th at the First Christian Church in Bellefontaine. Burial will be in the Bellefontaine Cemetery with Military Honors by the Logan County Veterans Honor Guard.

Joseph E. Daniels

Joseph E. Daniels, 55 of El Reno, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, January 5, at his home.
He was born April 11, 1954 in Springfield, Illinois to Wilbur E. and Shirley L. Daniels. He is survived by his wife of 36 years the former Cindy Corwin, two sons, Michael and Joseph Daniels, two daughters, Shannon Robertson and Angie Cooper, and two grandchildren, Ashley and Alauriana Cooper.
He is also survived by his brothers Donald E. and Larry D. Daniels, and sisters Linda K. Gardier and Deborah Kindelsperger and Rebecca Walters.
Joe attended Riverside High School and got his G.E.D. in 1973. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps and was a crew chief on helicopters stationed at New River, North Carolina and was honorably discharged in 1975.
He was a member of Bellefontaine Am Vets Post 105 and the El Reno, OK ABATE motorcycle club.
Joe loved riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends.

Marcia Ann Lane

Marcia Ann Lane, 59, of Bellefontaine, passed from this life Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, in her home, following a courageous four-month battle with cancer.
She was born in Bellefontaine on May 14, 1950, a special Mother’s Day gift for her proud parents, Willard I. Rollins, deceased, and Sarah M. Ansley Rollins (Calvin) Phillips, who survives.
Marcia grew up in Rushsylvania, graduating in 1968 from Buckeye Local High School, where she was named the most outstanding senior. She went on to attend Bluffton College and in 1970-, married the love of her life, Dennis R. Lane.
In addition to her father, Marcia was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Raymond P. Lane, and son-in-law, Trell C. Hall.
Surviving Marcia are her three beloved children, Jennifer (Roger) Darr of Findlay, and Ryan (Michelle) Lane and Carrie (Colin) Yoder, both of Bellefontaine; five grandchildren, Jacob and Reiss Hall, Averi Lane and Carter and Caden Yoder; four stepgrandchildren, Tori and Alek Darr and Reilly and Nolan Robson; sister, Linda (James) Green; mother-in-law, Janet I. Lane; sister-in-law, Shirley (Wendell) Connolly; and nephews, Michael (Julia) Alspaugh and James Alspaugh.
In addition to her loving family, Marcia leaves behind a host of close friends, all of whom will miss her greatly.
A childhood member of the Rushsylvania Church of Christ, she later attended the First United Methodist Church in Bellefontaine.
Marcia has long been known for her generous hear, giving spirit, her selfless acts and her kind and thoughtful deeds — always thinking and doing for others. Her greatest joy was her family and she never missed an opportunity to take in that important ballgame, dance recital or school program. Other interests included her beautiful flowers and following the Chieftains and The Ohio State Buckeyes. She had boundless energy and made the best pie Bellefontaine had ever tasted.
Pastor Rob Fulton and Associate Pastor Gene Marine officiate a funeral at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First United Presbyterian Church, Bellefontaine. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine.
