 The Village of Russells Point met in regular session Monday evening.
In new business Mayor Greg Iiams discussed his attendance along with zoning officer Don Walters at the Logan County Commissioners meeting last week.
Iiams discussed the proposed new sewer line within the village corporation and what that will mean to the village. (Video Interview Included)

Andy Smith (left) and Ron Murray were the featured speakers at Monday's meeting.
The two men running for Logan County Sheriff spoke at Monday's Bellefontaine Rotary Club meeting.
Lieutenant Andy Smith and West Liberty Police Chief Ron Murray answered nearly a dozen prepared questions that were presented by club member Mike Minnich.
The topics included budget, staffing, and each candidate's vision on how to improve the office.
Smith touted his 18 years of experience with the office and his education from Ohio State. (Video interviews included.)

 A Bellefontaine man was arrested on multiple felony counts after a domestic dispute over the weekend.
The Bellefontaine Police Department responded to 224 South Detroit Street, Apartment 4, around four o'clock Saturday morning.
Christopher Johnson, 28, allegedly held his girlfriend at gunpoint for about an hour after they returned from a downtown bar.
He reportedly threatened to kill her and her two children.
She eventually broke free and went downstairs to her sister's apartment.
The sister contacted police and Johnson was arrested without incident.

Christopher Stalk
An area man was arrested on multiple drug-related charges after a traffic stop in Bellefontaine Saturday morning.
The Logan County Sheriff's Office was following up on a load of scrap that Christopher Stalk, 30, of St. Marys, took to Sims Brothers.
Deputies stopped his vehicle on North Main near Sandusky Avenue around nine-thirty.
He was charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Stalk was then lodged in the Logan County Jail.
