Two injury accidents in the county Print E-mail

state_patrol_cruiser_on_8-08.jpgThe Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol responded to a couple of injury accidents in Logan County Sunday.

Troopers were sent to a one-vehicle crash on Township Road 31 just south of Township Road 220 (near Lewistown) around six-thirty a.m.

Lois Alexander, 61, of Russells Point, was driving a 2000 Grand Prix southbound on 31 when she failed to negotiate a curve and went off the left side of the road and struck a tree.

Lifeflight transported her from the scene to St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.

County Road between DeGraff and Logansville set to close Print E-mail

road_closed.jpgCrews from the Logan County Engineer's Office will begin replacement of a box culvert on Wednesday.

The project will take place on County Road 24 between Township Road 43 and State Route 47 in Pleasant Township.

County Road 24 will be closed beginning Wednesday at 7:30 a.m.

The project will continue through Wednesday, November 12th, weather permitting.

Bank robbery in Hardin County Print E-mail

For the second time in a week, a small bank in West Central Ohio has been robbed.

The Hardin County Sheriff's Office responded to a bank robbery in Dunkirk around 11:20 Saturday morning.

Two white men wearing ski masks and hooded sweatshirts entered the First Citizens National Bank and demanded money.

The teller complied and the men fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
