Most high school boys basketball games were postponed last night, but two Champaign County rivals were able to play.
Host West Liberty-Salem defeated Mechanicsburg 53-41 in varsity action.
Senior Nate Bratka led the Tigers with 26 points and 14 rebounds.
Sean King added 13.
WLS is 2-3 overall and 2-1 in the OHC.
The JV Tigers won 40-28.
Michael Mack scored 13 and Lucas Willis added 10.

The nation's great migration south and west is slowing, thanks to a housing crisis that is making it hard for many to move.
Most southern and western states aren't growing nearly as fast as they were at the start of the decade, but Ohio still looks to be the big loser when seats in Congress are divvied up following the 2010 Census, according to population estimates released Monday by the Census Bureau.
Southern and western states will still take congressional seats away from those in the Northeast and Midwest - Florida could gain as many as two House seats and Texas could pick up four. But some seats hanging in the balance could stay put, and California could be in danger of losing a seat for the first time since it became a state.

The Logan County Sheriff's Office reports that a Dayton man has been arrested for the recent armed robbery of the Village Pantry Marathon in DeGraff.
Justin Woods, 20, was arrested early Sunday in Montgomery County and charged with aggravated robbery and kidnapping.
Both counts are first-degree felonies.
Woods reportedly entered the gas station just before midnight on November 18th and threatened the clerk at knifepoint. He tied her up and fled with a small amount of cash.

Danya Piersoll
Four defendants were sentenced by Logan County Common Pleas Court Judge Mark O'Connor earlier this week.
Danya Piersoll, 30, of Bellefontaine, was sentenced to three years in prison for possession of drugs and failure to comply with the signal of a police officer.
In August, Piersoll was indicted on a second-degree felony count of possession of crack.
He was arrested on multiple charges after he struck a house during a high-speed chase in the city on November 7th.

The Hilliker YMCA Swim Team made an impressive showing against the Kenton Sea Dragons with an easy win and many personal bests for Logan County area swimmers.
Leading the team, while sweeping first place finishes in all of their events, were Amanda Tripp and Skyler Tavenner. Each swam the butterfly, backstroke, freestyle and individual medley.
