Gene Ray
Local artist Gene Ray made his first visit to The Night Mix on September 10th and in doing so, became the first country local artist to perform on the show. Ray recently agreed to record an album in Nashville, Tennessee for Robby Wittkowski, who works for Grand Ole Opry star Jimmy Dickens.

The Beach Spectacular Packed With Local Talent Print E-mail

Alert The Press perform on The Night Mix June 17th 2008

Alert The Press made their Night Mix debut Tuesday night. Lead singer Mike Adkins, lead guitar Matt grant, bass player Adam Bostick and drummer Jason Byrum were all on hand to discuss their band, upcoming shows and introduce themselves to the Logan County listeners.

 

ATP’s “One For Katie” is the band’s self proclaimed crowd favorite. Their single “gone was played before the band played a live version of “Rest Assured”  The band will be a guest of the Night Mix at Oldfield Beach on July 5th for the annual Beach Spectacular along with The Kraze.

Urbana's Small Town Sleeper To Tour With Candlebox Print E-mail

Last summer, Urbana natives Small Town Sleeper got their biggest break of their careers when they were asked to open for Daughtry during their summer tour.  This summer, Small Town Sleeper will hit the road again, this time with the mid 90’s stars Candlebox.

Elliott Promotes JK5K On The Night Mix Print E-mail

relaylogocolor2004_doc.jpgValerie Elliott joined the Night Mix Wednesday night to discuss the fourth annual Jeff Kerns 5K race to be held Saturday morning on June 21st at The Ohio High Point Career Center in conjunction with Logan County’s Relay For Life.

On the Show Elliott talked about how she decided to coordinate the 5K run after she saw the support received after the passing of her father to leukemia. Jeff Kerns was a teacher for Indian Lake and an avid runner. (Audio Interview Inside)
