The park and the Indian Lake Area Chamber of Commerce are holding the annual Maple Syrup Festival Saturday and Sunday with wagon tours of the sugar bush from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Regional State Park Manager Frank Giannola says the festival gives visitors a view into the past.

The main event is a pancake breakfast serving the marquis ingredient. Breakfast hours are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and until 1 p.m. Sunday.  

Giannola say the festival will also feature a petting zoo and dulcimer band.
