The sweet taste of syrup will be attracting lots of visitors to the Indian Lake State Park this weekend.
The park and the Indian Lake Area Chamber of Commerce are holding the annual Maple Syrup Festival Saturday and Sunday with wagon tours of the sugar bush from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Regional State Park Manager Frank Giannola says the festival gives visitors a view into the past. Breakfast hours are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and until 1 p.m. Sunday. Giannola say the festival will also feature a petting zoo and dulcimer band. |
