The State Highway Patrol says both vehicles suffered extensive damage.

The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol responded to a minor injury crash on Bellefontaine's east side Sunday afternoon.

Troopers report that a car and a pickup collided near the intersection of Rush Avenue (Route 47) and Allison Road just before three o'clock.

Accident reports indicate that both drivers were eastbound on Rush.  Bowen Gillespie, 59, of Bellefontaine was driving a 1970 Buick 454 and Allen Miller, 38, of Ridgeway was driving a Chevy Silverado.  Authorities report that Gillespie crossed the centerline and struck the left side of the pickup. 

Miller was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by a Bellefontaine squad.

Gillespie was cited for failure to drive in marked lanes.
