 Waynesfield-Goshen Senior Joe Horn was named Meet MVP Saturday at the West Holmes Invitational Track and Field Meet in Millersburg, Ohio.
Competing against two Division I and 10 Division II schools, Horn set three meet records while winning in the 100 meter dash (10.69 seconds), 200 meter dash (22.03 seconds) and the 400 meter dash (51.34 seconds). He also anchored the winning 4x200 meter relay team to a school record of 1:34.3. The Tigers rolled up 6 firsts in the meet as Kellen Fetter won the long jump at 19 ft. 6 inches and Gray Horn was the pole vault at 14 feet. The Tigers were 4th in the 15 team meet scoring 77 points. Host West Holmes was the winner with 97 points. |
