sheriffs_patch.jpgThree Bellefontaine teens were arrested over the weekend for breaking into and damaging several buildings on the Logan County Fairgrounds.

The sheriff's office reports that Josh Huffman, 16, and Trenton Stahler, 15, were each charged with breaking and entering, criminal damaging, and criminal trespassing.

Joe Birkhammer, 17, was charged with breaking and entering and criminal trespassing.

Deputies say that Birkhammer did not take part in the vandalism.

Authorities report that a fire extinguisher was sprayed into the secretary's office, an American Flag and several junior fair ribbons were stolen, and the Logan County Fire Safety Trailer suffered minor damage.

The incidents happened Friday night and were reported to law enforcement Saturday morning.

The sheriff's office says a license plate number reported by an eyewitness led to the arrests.

All three boys were lodged in the Juvenile Detention Center by late Saturday.
