Riverside wins teenage National Powerlifting Meet PDF Print E-mail

riverside_logo_on_2-08.jpgThe Riverside Powerlifting Team won their respective division of the ADFPF (American Drug Free Powerlifting Federation) National meet in South Bend, Indiana over the weekend.

A dozen high school boys competed in three lifts, including the squat, dead lift, and bench press.

Team members include:

Mason Harbour, 8th grade, 123 lbs.

Ryan Stewart, 10th grade, 148 lbs.

Cody Weeks, 10th grade, 148 lbs.

Nick Snapp, 10th grade, 181 lbs.

Joseph Coulson, 9th grade, 181 lbs.

Mike Seeling, 10th grade, 181 lbs.

Logan Whitaker, 12th grade, 198 lbs.

Jake McBrien, 12th grade, 181 lbs.

Brad Moffit, 10th grade, 242 lbs.

Jared Holycross, 10th grade, 242 lbs.

Chad Small, 11th grade, 275 lbs.

Ben Brown, 11th grade, 165 lbs.

Several individuals have qualified for the WDFPF World Single Pool Championships in Antwerp, Belgium later this year.

The team is coached by Scott Stewart of rural DeGraff.
