WLS wins at Graham, Raiders sweep tri-meet Print E-mail

Team Scores:  1st WLS 97, 2nd Indian Lake 86, 3rd Sidney 78, 4th Graham 71, 5th Tecumseh 21

First place finishes for the Tigers were provided by Nate Bratka in the discus, Joe Yoder in the high jump, Justus Murphy in the pole vault and the 4x400 relay team of Yoder, Jake Anderson, Eric Salley and Lance Kitchen.

The Lady Tigers placed second at Graham behind first place Indian Lake.

Team Scores:  1st Indian Lake 83, 2nd WLS 73, 3rd Graham 72, 4th Tecumseh 63 1/2, 5th Sidney 61 1/2

Kelsey Oakley led the Lady Tigers with a first place finish in the shot put.

WLS is back in action Saturday at the Anna Invitational.

The Benjamin Logan boys and girls track teams defeated visiting Ridgemont and Urbana last night.

Several Raider relay teams did well.

Girls results:

4x800 meter relay

1st - Benjamin Logan - Roebuck, Forsythe, Dahl-Jensen, Cayla Orr

2nd - Ridgemont - Taylor, Grimes, Grimes, Seiler

4x200 meter relay

1st - Urbana - Rogan, Edwards, Steffesson, Raterman

2nd - Benjamin Logan - Orr, Holden, Kenoyer, Yelton

4x100 meter relay

1st - Benjamin Logan - Anderson, Millsap, Yelton, Stafford

2nd - Urbana - Rogan, Dunfee, Edwards, Raterman

4x400 meter relay

1st - Benjamin Logan - S. Tevis, Holden, Catty Orr, Cayla Orr

2nd - Ridgemont - Gavkin, Seiler, Smith, Ledley

Boys results:

1st - Benjamin Logan - Ahle, Penhorwood, Reames, Barnes

2nd - Urbana - Taylor, Newman, Crawley, Clark
