A local teenager was injured in a one-vehicle wreck between East Liberty and West Mansfield Wednesday afternoon.

The Logan County Sheriff's Office responded to a crash at the intersection of County Road 142 and Township Road 141 just before five o'clock.

Kellie Church, 16, of West Mansfield was driving an '02 Pontiac Grand Prix northbound on 142.

She crashed while trying to make a left turn onto Township Road 141.

The car went off the right side of 141, struck a tree, and then went down an embankment. 

Passenger Marie Angles, 16, of East Liberty was Medflighted to Riverside Hospital in Columbus. She's listed in fair condition. 

Church was not injured, but she was charged with no operator's license and failure to control.

Both girls were wearing their seat belt.

Paramedics from Perry Township and Allen Township assisted.
