Troopers from the Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol were sent to a rollover wreck on State Route 638 near Belle Center just after one a.m. A northwestbound Ford Ranger driven by Jason Varner, 21, of Belle Center went off the left side of the road, struck some shrubs, two mailboxes, a ditch, and then hit a fence. Varner was charged with failure to control. The accident report indicated that Varner was injured, but the report did not say whether or not he was transported to a hospital. A passenger was not injured. The sheriff's office responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of State Routes 235 and 47 around seven-thirty a.m. One person was transported to Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney by Riverside EMS. No other information was released. Both accidents remain under investigation. |
