Pair of injury accidents across the county PDF Print E-mail

ohio_state_patrol.gifLaw enforcement responded to a couple of minor injury accidents in Logan County early Saturday.

Troopers from the Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol were sent to a rollover wreck on State Route 638 near Belle Center just after one a.m.

A northwestbound Ford Ranger driven by Jason Varner, 21, of Belle Center went off the left side of the road, struck some shrubs, two mailboxes, a ditch, and then hit a fence.

Varner was charged with failure to control.

The accident report indicated that Varner was injured, but the report did not say whether or not he was transported to a hospital.

A passenger was not injured.

The sheriff's office responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of State Routes 235 and 47 around seven-thirty a.m.

One person was transported to Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney by Riverside EMS.

No other information was released. 

Both accidents remain under investigation.
