bellefontaine_fire_department_engine_21_on_4-07.jpgTwo local fire departments were sent to a large RV fire west of Bellefontaine Saturday morning.

Firefighters from Bellefontaine and DeGraff responded to the Ora Stewart residence on 6232 County Road 11 shortly after ten o'clock.

Bellefontaine Fire Prevention Officer Russ Foust says the 1995 RV was destroyed in the fire.

It appears the fire started on the roof of the RV.

The cause may have been electrical, but authorities are still investigating.

Mrs. Stewart moved the RV to prevent the fire from spreading to the garage and house.

Foust says he could see the fire from State Route 47.

Crews were there for about an hour and no one was injured.
