Several staff members of the local child support office attended the 2008 Spring Conference sponsored by the Ohio Child Support Enforcement Agency Directors' Association.

The conference was recently held in Worthington and over 500 child support workers attended.

Logan County CSEA Director Kim Kellogg-Martin and Staff Attorney Cynthia Heffner served as moderators.

The conference provides training in many areas of the support enforcement program ranging from the upcoming cash medical component, safeguarding of federal tax information, and the state's initiative on helping obligors re-enter society after being released from prison.

The conference also offered several trainings on workplace safety.

Child support remains the second largest program in our state after public education.
