Chiefs and Raiders win in baseball, Indian Lake and Riverside cruise in softball PDF Print E-mail

The Bellefontaine varsity baseball team rolled past host Tecumseh 12-2.

Junior Zach Mosbarger earned the win to move to 2-0.

Mosbarger, T J Garman, Brandon Winter, Austin Pulfer, and Cody Mehl had multiple hit games.

The Chiefs are 4-2, 2-2.

The JV Chiefs edged Tecumseh 7-5.

Derrick Schmidt recorded the win and Jeremy Clifton powered the offense.

Benjamin Logan edged host Northwestern 4-3.

Jeremiah Kerns earned the win in relief.

He led the offense with a home run and a double.

Gage Cochran had a pair of RBI hits.

The Raiders are 6-3 overall and 3-2 in the CBC.

Indian Lake lost 5-3 vs. Graham.

It was the Lakers first loss of the year.

D.J. Postle belted a double and Derek Welch had a couple of hits.

Indian Lake is 6-1 overall and 3-1 in league play.

The Bellefontaine varsity softball team edged Tecumseh 4-2 in ten innings.

Sophomore Kara Morrison tossed a complete game three-hitter.

She led the attack with three hits and two stolen bases.

Senior Kelanie Garman had a game-winning double in the top of the tenth.

The Chiefs are 5-3 overall.

Indian Lake routed Graham 14-0 in six innings.

Jill Wildermuth fired a one-hitter to earn the win.

Wildermuth shined at the plate with an over-the-fence home run and three RBI's.

Chelsea Cramer had three hits and three RBI's.

Jessica Lininger and Kerstin Harmon had two hits apiece.

Julianne Minnich and Chelsey Hoyles added doubles.

Brooke Walton recorded an RBI.

Indian Lake is 6-2 overall and 3-1 in the CBC.

Riverside ran past Lima Temple Christian 10-0.

Sara Emerich tossed a one-hitter and recorded 13 K's.

Emerich, Brittany Shough, and Megan Hurley had two hits apiece.

The Pirates are 3-3 overall and 2-0 in the NWCC.

West Liberty-Salem handled Cedarville 22-0.

The Lady Tigers are 11-0, 5-0. 

Waynesfield-Goshen lost 13-3 vs. Ridgemont in five innings.

The Tigers hurt themselves with several errors.

Kenzie Sheets led the Waynesfield offense with a single and a double.

The Benjamin Logan JV softball team outscored Northwestern 13-10.

Lauren Bycynski earned the win in relief of Kirsten Givens.

Deanna Dill and Caitie Fields both smacked home runs.

Chelsea Keckler had a triple and three RBI's.

The Raiders are 6-1 overall and 4-0 in the CBC.

In 8th grade fastpitch, Indian Lake lost 10-2 against Marysville.

Spencer Minnich suffered the loss.

Haley Lange led the offense with two hits and two RBI's.

Indian Lake is 1-3.
