West Liberty-Salem softball rolls again, Lady Raiders blank the Spartans Print E-mail

In varsity, West Liberty-Salem ran post host Greeneview 17-0 in five innings.

Emily Kauffman and Emily Detwiler combined for a two-hitter.

Abbey Ledford had four hits and four RBI's.

Kaitlyn Kite drove in three runs and Katie Detwiler had a couple of RBI's.

The Tigers are 13-0 overall and 7-0 in the OHC.

WLS will host Springfield Catholic on Friday.

The Benjamin Logan freshman team defeated the Lima Senior JV team 22-0.

Pitcher Jessica Davia recorded seven strikeouts and led the offense with four hits.

Haylee Brewer and Allissa Allford had three hits apiece.

Katrise Beech blasted a home run and a triple.

Brooke Poppe and Cheyanne Kuhn each recorded two hits.

The Raiders will play at West Liberty-Salem on Saturday.

In 8th grade fastpitch, Indian Lake beat Kenton 14-3.

Spencer Minnich fired a one-hitter and struck out four to earn the win.

Kayla Thieman led the attack with three hits.

Taylor Hakes, Maci Jones, and Minnich each had two hits.

Taylor Drake added a triple.
