Two of our local schools competed in a junior high track meet at Benjamin Logan last night.

The Benjamin Logan boys team won the meet with 57.5 points, defeating London and Indian Lake.

Also placing were Dylan McGarry 4^th in the high jump, Dustin Bowers 2^nd in the shot put, Austin Ramge 3^rd in the shot put, Austin Ramge 3^rd in the disc, Trevor Newland 4^th in the pole vault, Patrick Graber 2^nd in the 110 hurdles, Quint Terry 4^th in the 110 hurdles, Blaine Ricketts 3^rd in the 1600, Patrick Graber 4^th in the 400, Eric Olson 4^th in the 800, Paul Larsen 3^rd in the 200 dash, and Brent Weiss 4^th in the 200 dash.

Indian Lake finished third.

Placers for the Lakers were:

Shylar McIntire, 1st in the 400 meter run and pole vault and 2^nd in the 800 meter run

Tanner Hinkle, 1^st in the 200 meter dash and 2^nd in the high jump and long jump

Dylan Bundy, 1^st in the shot put and 2^nd in the discus

Sammy Ramos 3^rd 110 hurdles and 200 meter hurdles and 4^th in the long jump

Keith Harvey, 2^nd in the pole vault

Austin Nance, 3rd in the pole vault

Reese Newland, 4^th in the discus

Bradley McIntire, 4^th in the 1600 meter run

The Lakers compete next Wednesday at the Springfield Shawnee Invitational.

The Indian Lake girls team placed third.

The 4 x 100 meter relay team of Megan Thomas, Erika Kysenceder, Katie Ray, and Jessica Green placed 2^nd with a time of 1:00.

Makenzie Taylor:  2^nd in 400 meter dash (1:13), 2^nd in 100 meter dash (15.0)

Kayla Beltz:  3^rd in 800 meter run (3:01), 2^nd in 1600 meter run (6:33)

Jessica Green:  1^st in 200 meter dash (30.4)

The 4 x 400 meter relay team of Jessica Green, Makenzie Taylor, Ashley Albright, and Ashley Collins placed 1^st with a time of 4:46.

Ashley Collins:  1^st in long jump (13'2"), 1^st in pole vault (6')

Katie Ray:  3^rd in long jump (11' ¾")

Jordan Keckler:  4^th in long jump (10' 5")

Taylor Huffman: 2^nd in shot put ( 22' 9")
