Former Banana's employees picket near the restaurant last night.

The ex-employees were protesting about not receiving their paychecks.

Two of the former employees are being investigated on theft charges.

The Bellefontaine Police Department met with Banana's management last night about alcohol and food that was stolen.

Banana's says the thefts started about nine months ago.

Police continue their investigation and they are not releasing the names of the suspects.

There have been rumors about the business closing, but owners Dan and Marla Stephens say that is not the case.

Banana's is usually open Wednesday through Sunday, but they will be closed this weekend.
