Long-term Bridge closure scheduled in Miami Township PDF Print E-mail

road_work.jpgThe Logan County Engineer's Office announces that Miller Brothers Construction will begin the total replacement of the bridge located over CSX Railroad in Miami Township on County Road 63 between the Quincy Corporation limit and County Road 64.

The closure will begin on Monday, April 28th and will continue through October 31st.

The roadway will be closed during the construction phase.

The detours are as follows:

From the West - SR 235 in Quincy, North to SR 508 in DeGraff, then SR 508 East to CR 63 West.

From the East - CR 63 North to SR 508 in DeGraff, then SR 508 West to SR 235 in DeGraff, then SR 235 South to Quincy to New Street East in Quincy, to CR 63 East.

Access to the Miami Valley Campground will be maintained and can be accessed from the East by following SR 508 to SR 235 in DeGraff, SR 235 South to Quincy, New Street East in Quincy to CR 63 East to the campground.

The project will be paid for with 90% Federal Aid Funding and 10% Motor Vehicle and Gas Tax Funding.

The Engineer's Office apologizes for any inconvenience that may occur.

All construction is weather permitting.
