Groundbreaking for IL Elementary announced, several teachers set to retire PDF Print E-mail

indian_lake_logo.jpgThe Indian Lake Board of Education held its monthly meeting last night.

Superintendent McGlothlin announced that the community is invited to the Indian Lake Elementary Groundbreaking Ceremony next Monday at 4:30 behind the football field.

The 13.6 million dollar project is expected to be done by August 2009.

Ferguson Construction Company is the general contractor.

Several Indian Lake educators are retiring at the end of the school year.

The board accepted the resignations for the purpose of retirement from high school teachers Bill Fulton, Jeff Lacher, and John Tucci, middle school teacher Barbara Fuson, elementary school teacher Judy Snapp, and high school guidance counselor Dave Corwin.

Food Services employee Carolyn Stachler also submitted her resignation for the purpose of retirement.

The next regular board meeting will be held May 19th at 6:30 p.m. in the board office.
