sheriff_sign_10-06.jpgFor the second time in a month, several mailboxes have been vandalized in Logan County.

The sheriff's office reports that over 80 mailboxes were damaged overnight.

Law enforcement has received reports of vandalism in the south, southwest, and western parts of the county.

Many residents on County Road 32, Township Road 199 West, Township Road 190 East, County Road 1, Township Road 31, and Township Road 45 were hit.

If your mailbox was vandalized, contact the sheriff's office at 592-5731.

On Easter weekend, 34 mailboxes along County Roads 91, 13, and 31 were damaged. Many of them were struck with a ball bat.

Four local teens were charged from that vandalism spree.

Jonathon Dalton, 18, of rural Bellefontaine and Derick Puff, 18, of rural DeGraff were each charged with two counts of criminal mischief.

Matthew Godsey, 18, of DeGraff and Steven Cornell, 19, of Bellefontaine were each charged with one count of criminal mischief.
