Serious motorcycle crash in rural Logan County PDF Print E-mail

ohio_state_patrol.gifA local man suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident near West Liberty shortly after six-thirty last night.

The Marysville Post of the State Highway Patrol reports that a 2000 Harley-Davidson driven by Gregg Boyd, 54, of Urbana crashed on County Road 1 south of County Road 47.

Boyd failed to negotiate a curve and then went off the right side of the road. The bike overturned and he was ejected.

Boyd was transported to Grant Medical Center in Columbus by Medflight.

He is listed in critical condition.

Boyd was not wearing a helmet.

West Liberty EMS also responded.

The accident remains under investigation.
