baseballs.jpgAlthough varsity teams had the night off, a few of our other local baseball and softball teams were in action yesterday.

The Benjamin Logan freshman baseball team handled Dayton Stebbins 15-5 in six innings.

Matt Cira pitched a complete game to earn the win.

Landon McKirahan led the attack with three hits.

In 8th grade baseball, Indian Lake outscored St. Marys 13-9.

The Lakers collected 15 hits.

Jonathon Schulz went three for three with a double.

Trevor Jacobs, Zach Maier, Tyler McCullough, and Zach Johnson had two hits apiece.

Johnson also belted a home run.

Indian Lake is 7-3.

The Benjamin Logan freshman softball team ran past Sidney 24-1.

Jessica Davia had four hits and five RBI's.

Dakota Plikerd and Allissa Allford each drove in four runs.

Chelsea Cox recorded three hits and Brooke Poppe added two hits.

The Raiders are 5-5.

In 8th grade fastpitch, Indian Lake lost 10-0 vs. Lima Shawnee.

Kayla Thieman, Spencer Minnich, Haley Lange, and Maci Jones each had singles.
