Emergency vehicles respond to an accident on Bellefontaine's eastside Thursday afternoon.
Law enforcement responded to a couple of accidents in Logan County Thursday afternoon.

The sheriff's office says a motorcyclist was injured in a crash in Middleburg on State Route 287 near the ballpark shortly after twelve o'clock.

A westbound 2007 Kawasaki Ninja driven by Renee Goings, 19, of Richwood went off the right side of the road, struck the ditch, and then hit a tree.

She was flown from the scene to OSU Medical Center by Medflight.

Goings was wearing a helmet.

She was charged with failure to control.

Allen Township EMS assisted at the scene.

The Bellefontaine Police Department was sent to a two-vehicle wreck on State Route 540 just west of Route 33 shortly before three o'clock.

A Ford Mustang rear ended a Jeep Cherokee. Both vehicles suffered moderate damage.

No one was transported to the hospital, but the accident slowed traffic.

Bellefontaine Fire and EMS also responded.
