Unlocking the Mystery of Alzheimer's Disease PDF Print E-mail

A program is being offered for help and hope for those with dementia.

Caregivers and anyone wanting to learn about dementia is encouraged to attend. 

Presented by Patricia Roby, Director of Training & Family Education Miami Valley Chapter, the seminar will be held April 29th, 6:00 p.m. at the Indian Lake Community Church Fellowship Hall.

Roby has a degree in Registered Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Education. She has worked in all facets of nursing from newborn nursery through geriatrics and from hospital staff nurse through director of nursing in long term care. She has been at the Alzheimer's Association for 9 years.

Roby trained in the Care of Persons with Alzheimer's disease and dementia more than 25 years ago and has been associated with Alzheimer's care in one fashion or another since that time.

Roby develops and presents programs to persons with Alzheimer's as well as caregivers, friends and family in need of help and guidance.

Currently, there is no cure for dementia.

The program next Tuesday is free.
