 The West Liberty-Salem Girls Team placed 3rd at The Big Orange Shoe Shop Invitational at WL-S on Friday evening.
Team Scores for the BOSS: Greeneview 121, Indian Lake 96, West Liberty-Salem 74, Graham 67, London 64, Ben Logan 58, Gilead Christian 47.
Individual first place finishes were won by Hannah Ropp in the Pole Vault and Hillary Seely in the 3200m.
The girls 400m relay placed second behind Graham, while running their best time of the season, 54.95. The relay consisted of Emily Evans, Kaycee Daniels, Heather Bumbalough, and Michelle Mack.
Kelsie Markin placed 3rd in the pole vault and was a member of the 3rd place 3200m relay team with teammates, Hannah Hartsel, Hillary Seely, and Courtney Karg. Rounding out the top 3 finishes for West Liberty-Salem were Kelsey Oakley in the shot put and Courtney Karg in the 800. The West Liberty-Salem Track & Field Teams are back in action Tuesday at the Champaign County meet in Urbana and competing at the Urbana Invitational on May 3rd. |
