The Huntsville AcuSport Farm team participated in the Kenton Pre-Season Baseball Tournament over the weekend. The team won four out of five games and took third overall in the twelve-team tournament.

Here are highlights from the four wins.

Huntsville beat Upper Sandusky 13-2.

Alex Jacobs won the game with 4 strikeouts in 1  2/3 innings. Kyle Shoffner struck out 5 batters in two innings of work.

Huntsville outscored the Kenton Blue Jays 22-10.

Caleb Smelcer earned the win. Kyle Shoffner had 6Ks in two innings on the mound. Mitch Schwieterman, Zayne Hakes, and Tyler Reprogle had triples. Caleb Smelcer (2/3), Alex Jacobs (2/3), and Kale Shoffner (2/2) had doubles.

Huntsville defeated the Kenton Indians 18-7.

Andrew Hulbert had 2 home runs, Kyle Shoffner and Caleb Smelcer (2/3) each added a HR. Tyler Reprogle had a triple. Dylan Albright (2/3) and Kale Shoffner (2/2) added doubles.

Huntsville handled Fairbanks 17-6.
