tiger_logo_on_10-07.jpgDespite the rainy weather, the West Liberty-Salem varsity softball team still played last night.

The Tigers handled host Southeastern 10-1.

Ace Emily Kauffman tossed a four-hitter and recorded five strikeouts.

Kauffman led the offense with a home run and a double.

Shae Blake had two hits and three RBI's, Haleigh Hickenbottom collected two hits and two RBI's, and Abbey Ledford had three hits.

West Liberty-Salem is 21-0 overall and 13-0 in the OHC.

Coach Detwiler's team wraps up league play Monday in North Lewisburg against rival Triad.

The Tigers are ranked second in this week's AP Division III poll.
