Boys Team Scores: 1st Bellefontaine 123, 2nd WLS 113, 3rd Marysville 93, 4th Ben Logan 91, 5th Graham 39, 6th Greenon 21, 7th Lima Perry 11, 8th Springfield Shawnee 5 Girls Team Score: 1st Marysville 132, 2nd Bellefontaine 127, 3rd WLS 110.5, 4th Graham 80, 5th Greenon 51, 6th Ben Logan 13, 7th Springfield Shawnee 7.5, 8th Lima Perry 6 First place finishes for the West Liberty-Salem Tigers boys were Nate Bratka in the discus, Joe Yoder in the high jump, the 4x800 relay team of Seth Baker, Matt Vogel, Brandon Shiveley and Eric Salley and the 4x400 relay team of Yoder, Salley, Brice Baumgardner and Lance Kitchen. Bellefontaine's Sean Egler won the 100 & 200. Benjamin Logan's Ross Barnes won the 400 & 800. The meet MVP was Jeff Rollins of Bellefontaine. Rollins took first in the 110 and 300 meter hurdles and was a member of the winning 4x200 relay team. For the Lady Tigers Kelsey Oakley placed first in the shot put and Kelsie Markin placed first in the 1600 meter run for the Lady Tigers. The 4x800 relay team of Markin, Christine Naderer, Hillary Seely and Courtney Karg also placed first. Bellefontaine's Kea Lewis won the Long Jump while Kaileigh Bible set a new meet and stadium record in the Pole Vault at 9'6". The Chiefs Danielle Hill won the 100. Bellefontaine's Tomika Brown was the meet MVP. Brown set a meet and stadium records in the high jump and the 100 meter hurdles. Brown jumped 5'8" in the high jump and ran a 15.41 in the hurdles. Brown was also a member of the winning 4x100 relay team which set a meet record and added a second place finish in the 200 meter dash. |
