Ohio Hi-Point inducts 13 into National Technical Honor Society PDF Print E-mail

nths_group.jpgOhio Hi-Point recently held their Spring Induction Ceremony to honor 13 students who were selected for induction into the school's chapter of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS).  Students, parents, faculty and staff gathered in the Hi-Point Sloan Inn on the OHP campus to witness the induction ceremony following a meal prepared by the Culinary Arts students.

In order to be inducted, students must meet the criteria of membership, which includes having at least a 3.0 grade point average during their sophomore years, maintaining a 3.5 grade point average while at OHP, meeting attendance requirements, and having the approval of the instructional staff.

Students inducted this year included:

·         Caleb Blackwell, a junior Diesel Technology student from Riverside High School

·         Dana Bowen, a junior Health Technologies student from Graham High School

·         Alaine Bozman, a junior Teaching Professions Academy Satellite student from Riverside High School

·         Kassie Breneman, a junior Auto Technology student from Upper Scioto Valley High School

·         Jessica Brown, a junior Health Technologies student from Graham High School

·         Becky Coover, a junior Animal Management Technology student from West Liberty-Salem High School

·         Emily Eckhardt, a junior Health Technologies student from Urbana High School

·         Brittany Godfrey, a senior Medical Care Services student from Triad High School

·         Dusty Lawrence, a senior Electricity student from Kenton High School

·         Megan Leiss, a junior Teaching Professions Academy Satellite student from Riverside High School

·         James Robinson, a junior Health Technologies student from Graham High School

·         Carrie Weisenberger, a senior Cosmetology student from Triad High School

·         Steven Wirth, a senior Architectural & Mechanical Design student from Graham High School
