Many Little League games went down to the last inning. Finals included: Bellefontaine Thompson Electric edged West Mansfield 8-7. For Thompson Electric, Daniel Boy was 2-3 with two doubles and two RBI's. Tyler Jones, Gauge Hayman, and Boy combined for sixteen strikeouts. For West Mansfield, Tyler Tevis had a double. Pitchers Jacob Noble, Mason Cline, and Melina Hilty teamed up for ten strikeouts. Washington SS Powerwash nipped Bellefontaine Lions Club 11-10 in extra innings. For Powerwash, Luke Rody scored the winning run and went 3-3. LJ Henderson, Brad Francis, Tyler Rode, Kurt Crockett, Ethan Downing, and Quenten Staley had two hits apiece. Dakota Long recorded a double. Reyse Wallbrown, Kurt Crockett, Ivan Reichert, and LJ Henderson pitched well. For Lions Club, Jordan Baughman, Colton Wrede, and Devin Legge shined on the mound. Evin McClure, Collen Pulfer, Jacob Houchin, Colton Wrede, Devin Legge, and Lane Kiser had multiple hits. Josh Burton added a triple. Maple Leaf edged East Liberty Reliant 6-5. Matt Entsminger and Tristin Tillman combined for fourteen strikeouts in the win. Entsminger and Tillman each had two hits and two RBI's. Blake Carnes drove in the winning run in the sixth inning. For Reliant, Kyle Ackley was 3-3. Cody Rice recorded two hits and Jeremy Brisson blasted a home run. Bellefontaine AcuSport ran past Huntsville #1 12-1. Joe Oliver and Andrew Mitchell scattered four hits and struck out nine in the win. Jarrod Houchin was 4-4 with a double, a triple, and three RBI's. For Huntsville, Jacob Hulbert had a triple. Caleb Meadows, Brandon Huffman, and Hulbert combined for 11 K's. DeGraff beat Bellefontaine Exchange Club 7-1. For DeGraff, pitchers Landon Kelsey, Joseph Corwin, and Trevor Anderson fired a one-hitter and struck out eight. Kelsey had four hits and an RBI. Logan Shootey and Corwin each added an RBI. For Exchange Club, pitchers AJ Gorham and Tyler Shamblin combined for six strikeouts. Pony League finals: DeGraff #1 Citizens Bank of DeGraff handled Bellefontaine #1 18-5. Kyle Hurley led DeGraff with five hits. Chad Keith and Joseph Coulson each recorded three hits. Keith was the winning pitcher. On Saturday, DeGraff #1 stormed past Huntsville 27-0 in three innings. Chuck Gariety pitched a complete game to earn the win. Bryce Hodge had four hits, including a home run. Joseph Coulson, Chad Keith, and Gariety had three hits apiece. T-Ball: Huntsville #2 Fire/EMS tied Belle Center #1 15-15. For Huntsville, Pierce Wall, McKenzee Lewis, and Derek Cline each had three hits. Dustin Franks shined on defense. Coach Pitch: Huntsville #2 Mobile Instruments outscored Belle Center 18-12. For Huntsville, Brandon Jones, Jade Lewis, and Trey Lones led the attack. |
