bellefontaine_high_school_2.jpgThe Human Resource Association of Central Ohio was pleased to announce the winners of the 2008 Workforce Readiness School-to-Career Grants at a luncheon held in Columbus earlier this week.

The goals for the HRACO School-to-Career Grant Program are to encourage a wide range of activities that promote career awareness for elementary students, help middle school students explore careers and assist high school students in preparation for careers.

The HRACO Workforce Readiness School-to-Career Grant is awarded on the basis of the following:  a minimum of 6 grants in amounts not to exceed $1,000 each will be awarded during the school year.

Eligible participants include teachers, counselors, school administrators and central office personnel requesting funds to be used for school-to-work development.

Included in the 2008 recipients was the Bellefontaine High School Young Professionals Internship Program, Fred Boring, Principal, Katie Rychener and Debbie Ellis Applicants.
