Elizah Talbert, 23, of Columbus was charged with possession of marijuana and carrying a concealed weapon. The gun charge is a fourth-degree felony. The patrol stopped a 2000 Chevy Tahoe for a speed violation on Route 33 near the Honda Parkway exit Tuesday. The trooper detected a strong odor of marijuana. The marijuana and gun were found inside the vehicle. Talbert was lodged in the Tri-County Jail in Mechanicsburg. If convicted, he could face up to 18 months in jail and up to a $5,000 fine. |
