baseballs.jpgSeveral youth baseball and softball teams were in action Wednesday night.

Finals included:

FARM LEAGUE:

Ridgemont #2 defeated West Mansfield 25-4.

Alex Ramsey was the winning pitcher. He had seven strikeouts and only allowed one hit in three innings. Austin Buroker had four strikeouts in four batters.

Xavier McGue belted a home run for the winners. Jace McGue, Austin Buroker, Devin McGraff and Ricky Smith all had multiple hits.

Cole Nicholl had a double for West Mansfield.

Lakeview #2 Stanley Asphalt Seal Coating defeated Rushsylvania 12-6.

Ethan Zorn led the offense with two doubles and two RBI's. Jacob Brunson added three RBI's. Devin Draper and Lucas Shaffer each added extra base hits.

For Rushsylvania, Reese Wilcoxon went 2-2 with an RBI. Swayde Finch and Salem Smalley singled.

Patrick Schneider and Chase Prall combined for eight strikeouts for Rushsylvania.

Zanesfield #1 Sports Plus beat DeGraff #1 7-6.

T.J. Fink, Dylin Harshfield, Mitchell Fink and Hayes Roebuck combined for 18 strikeouts for Sports Plus.

T.J. and Mitchell Fink both had doubles. Roebuck smacked a triple and Clay Bibart had an RBI.

Caleb Stevens threw 10 strikeouts from the mound for DeGraff #1.

EWH Spectrum defeated National Salt 3-2.

Dawsin Tillman went two for two with a double for EWH Spectrum.

Jacob Rogan and Sammy Martz both hit triples.

For National Salt, Nathan Langenfeld went three for three with a double.

Gunnar Buck pitched seven strikeouts.

Ridgemont #1 downed West Liberty #3 16-2.

For Ridgemont, Cole Wyatt had a double, a triple and three RBI's. Trace Racy belted a homer. Andrew Freshcorn hit a single and a home run and had two RBI's.

Darian Bricker, Brady Lester and Wyatt Warren combined for eight strikeouts.

Jarrett Meeker, Adam Schultz and Isaac Kaufman all had doubles for West Liberty #3.

Royer Realy beat Spectrum Painting 9-2 at Ratleff Park.

Hayden Nease and Payton Biddle pitched a one-hitter and struck out fifteen in the win.

Devan Huffman had a triple to lead the offense.

Nease recorded a double.

Zack Gilbert had two singles and Nate Yelton added a single.

Zanesfield #2 Thomas and Marker cruised past Belle Center #1 21-6.

For Thomas and Marker, Arie Pequignot went the distance to earn the win.

At the plate, Pequignot went 3-3 with a double.

Toby Stettler had a triple and two RBI's.

Brody Burk added two hits.

For Belle Center, Austin Vanbuskirk, Devin Coy, and Jarrett Mathews doubled.

West Liberty #1 McDaniel's Auto Repair blanked Lakeview #1 12-0.

For McDaniel's Auto Repair, Dusty Moell earned the win and recorded five K's.

Cole McDaniel was 3-3.

Brandon Upton drove in three runs, Tanner Workman doubled, and Mason Woodruff went 2-2.

Dominic Smith and Ian Meeker added hits.

For Lakeview #1, Jacob Shouse had a double.

Jared Lattimer and Adam Barhorst each had a hit.

East Liberty A.G. Boogher & Son edged Belle Center #2 15-14.

For Boogher & Son, Collin Losey had two hits and two RBI's.

Josh Whitten recorded a hit and scored twice.

Gavin Erwin scored three runs.

Pitchers Austin Noel, Spencer Bycynski, and Josh Mears combined for fourteen strikeouts.

For Belle Center #2, Andrew Bickham had three hits and five RBI's.

Curtis Hinkle was 3-3 and Jarred Nichol scored three runs.

DeGraff #2 Comer Insurance handled Washington #1 12-1 to improve to 6-0.

For Comer Insurance, Ross Stevens pitched 5 2/3 innings and struck out thirteen to earn the win.

Conner Cotterman and Lucas Roderick led the offense with home runs.

Stevens had two hits and three RBI's.

Brandon Cron and Cody Dearwester each drove in a run.

Blaine Walters added a hit.

For Washington #1, J.J. Seibert and Bradley Hoover had two hits apiece.

Ezra Naylor recorded a hit and scored a run.

Huntsville AcuSport beat Washington #2 6-3.

For AcuSport, pitchers Alex Jacobs, Dalton Faler, and Kyle Shoffner combined for fourteen strikeouts.

Kale Shoffner, Kyle Shoffner, Alex Jacobs, and Mitch Schwieterman had RBI's.

AcuSport is 6-0.

For Washington #2, Nate Kaffenbarger, Cody King, and Cameron Francis scored.

West Liberty #2 Nelson Insurance defeated Huntsville #1 14-2.

For Nelson Insurance, Jayden Aldo earned the win and Zach Lowe recorded the save.

Dylan Leopard was 3-3 with two triples.

Maverick Aldo recorded a triple and a double.

Gage Rudasill had two hits.

Justin Salyers and Hayden Stidham doubled.

For Huntsville #1, Drew Thomas and Cole Merritt singled.

PONY LEAGUE:

DeGraff #1 Citizens Bank of DeGraff breezed past DeGraff #2 15-0 Tuesday night.

For Citizens Bank of DeGraff, Kyle Hurley fired a no-hitter and struck out fifteen of the eighteen batters he faced.

At the plate, Joseph Coulson was 4-4 and is now 10-10 this season.

Chad Keith and Charlie Gariety each had three hits.

Citizens Bank of DeGraff is now 3-0.

SOFTBALL:

10 and under:

Lakeview #1 Indian Lake Moose beat Rushsylvania 13-8.

For Indian Lake Moose, Emali Sroufe earned the win and struck out eight.

April Whitcher was 2-2.

Magan Johnston and Tobi Collins singled.

DeGraff #1 DeGraff Creamery beat Huntsville #1 5-1.

For DeGraff Creamery, Lauryn Davis and Alexa Klinger drove in runs.

Hannah Kilgore, Helena Faulder, and Davis combined for a 1-3-2 double play to end the game.

On Tuesday night, DeGraff Creamery outscored DeGraff #2 Ron's Pizza 10-7.

For DeGraff Creamery, Lauryn Davis struck out six.

Marissa Davis had a big hit.

For Ron's Pizza, Taylor Stevens and Kerri Meade recorded hits.

12 and under:

Huntsville #2 S&S Fine Homes defeated DeGraff #1 12-11.

Keira Young, Morgan Barnett, Ashley Wallace, Analynn Wilson, Carley Losh, Ashton Faylor and Ashley Jenice each hit singles for S&S Fine Homes.

DeGraff #2 ran past Quincy 23-8.

For DeGraff #2, Chelsea Giles was the winning pitcher. She had five K's.

Taylor Nichols and Giles each had two hits and an RBI.

Cahalina Castalante drove in three runs.

Madison Manahan had two RBI's.

Sonya Peltier added a hit and an RBI.

14 and under:

DeGraff Comer Insurance edged Huntsville #2 10-8.
