Finals included: The Benjamin Logan Acme team swept Graham on Saturday. The Raiders won the first game 9-8. Trent Kuhn had three hits and two RBI's. Benjamin Logan won the second game 22-1. Trent Pugh was four for four. Dustin Craig and Trent Kuhn each drove in four runs. Colt Stover, Donnie Stover, Artie Fields, Logan Coleman, and Tyler Easter each had multiple hits. LITTLE LEAGUE: East Liberty-Middleburg edged DeGraff 5-4. For East Liberty-Middleburg, Dalton Greene and Cody Rice combined for eleven strikeouts. Eric Cook led the attack with two hits and three RBI's. Greene recorded two hits and an RBI. Cody Rice tripled. DeGraff was led by Trevor Anderson with a triple and Landon Kelsey with a double. Anderson, Kelsey, and Tanner Lane teamed up for thirteen K's. East Liberty-Middleburg ran past Rushsylvania 16-5. Austin Cline and David Watson combined for ten strikeouts in the win. Jeremy Brisson belted a home run and a triple. Kyle Ackley, Joel Spatz, Austin Cline, and Eric Cook doubled. Cody Rice tripled. Josh Hardman, Dalton Greene, David Watson, and Alex Brewer added hits. Rushsylvania pitchers Hunter Colwell, Jarrett Wical, Jordan Craig, and Garrett Dunn teamed up to strike out ten. Lakeview outscored Bellefontaine #1 14-10. Blake Farris and Austin Collins pitched well in the win. Washington (SS Powerwash) handled West Mansfield 13-1. Reyse Wallbrown, Kurt Crockett, and Dustin Roby shined on the mound for Powerwash. Ethan Downing and LJ Henderson went three for three with a triple. Reyse Wallbrown, Kurt Crockett, Tyler Rode, and Kyle Roby had two hits apiece. Ivan Reichert tripled. Bellefontaine #6 (Thompson Electric) beat Bellefontaine #2 (Maple Leaf) 5-3. For Thompson Electric, Nick Ruble and Tyler Jones combined for six strikeouts. John Kirby and Jones each had two hits, including doubles. For Maple Leaf, Nick Heydinger, Matt Entsminger, and Nick Burton collected eleven K's. Tristin Tillman and Nick Burton each had two hits. Connor Burton doubled. FARM LEAGUE: Ridgemont #1 nipped Zanesfield #2 7-6. Cole Wyatt and Trenton Myers struck out fourteen in the win. Darrien Bricker and Cole Wyatt each had 2 hits. Trace Racey added a hit. For Zanesfield, Josh Hill had 3 hits. Brody Burk, Cody Eagy, and Justin Jordan added hits. SOFTBALL: 8 and under: DeGraff (Medicap Pharmacy) battled West Liberty #1 to an 18-18 tie Friday night. For Medicap, Hallie Strapp blasted a grand slam. Mallory Caudill, Haylay Boling, Madison Faulder, and Lorna Campbell doubled. For West Liberty, Taylor Lauck, Haley Clifford, and Karli Bowden homered. Huntsville (Northside Animal Clinic) and Ridgemont slugged their way to a 17-17 tie. Tatum Reprogle hit her third home run of the season for Huntsville. Tyann Scipio had four hits, including two doubles. Taylor Hites and Kelly Shoffner each had a pair of doubles. Cassie Anderson recorded three hits and Peyton Farley added two hits. For Ridgemont, Richardson blasted two home runs. McLane had four hits and Cromes was three for three with two doubles. |
