Benjamin Logan Acme wins again, Colwell leads Rushsylvania to big win Print E-mail

Finals included:

Acme:

Benjamin Logan defeated Dayton Stebbins 6-2.

Logan Coleman went the distance to earn the win.

Trent Kuhn, Blake Rodenberger, and Trenton Pugh each had two hits to lead the offense.

The Raiders are 5-1.

Bellefontaine Powerbuilt fell to Celina 9-6.

Jace Mills had three hits and three RBI's to lead the Bellefontaine attack.

Teammates Brock Mitchell, Mark Duffy, and Austen Pulfer had two hits apiece.

Powerbuilt will play in the Defiance Invitational against Bryan Saturday morning at ten-thirty.

Bellefontaine is 9-1 overall.

LITTLE LEAGUE:

Bellefontaine #3 (AcuSport) defeated Bellefontaine #6 (Thompson Electric) 13-5.

Jarrod Houchin had an outstanding game for AcuSport.

He was four for four with four RBI's.

Houchin and Joe Oliver combined for thirteen strikeouts.

Brady LeVan had two hits and Andrew Mitchell drove in a pair of runs.

Oliver scored three runs and Rian Lopez added a double.

For Thompson Electric, Storm Harman had two RBI's.

Bellefontaine #1 (Lions Club) beat Bellefontaine #2 (Maple Leaf) 7-4.

Devin Legge and Cody Hullinger teamed up for nine K's in the win.

Josh Burton and Colton Wreede each had extra base hits to spark the offense.

Hullinger delivered a key two-run single.

For Maple Leaf, Matt Entsminger, Nick Burton, and Nick Heydinger had hits.

Zanesfield ran past Huntsville #1 13-3.

Jordan Scales and Kyler Young pitched well in the win.

Harshfield and Ahle each had three hits.

Scales, Young, and Nease recorded extra base hits.

For Huntsville, Fry, Kirkpatrick, Lange, and Hulbert had hits.

Rushsylvania earned their first win of the season by defeating Bellefontaine #5.

Hunter Colwell allowed just two hits and struck out fourteen to post the win.

Jordan Craig recorded the save.

Jarrett Wical belted a home run.

Wes Ginn, Tanner Rader, Garrett Dunn, and Colwell had hits.

For Bellefontaine #5, Chance Rose homered and Shamblin and Roberts had hits.

Lakeview (Boogher and Sons) knocked off West Mansfield 11-5.

Strong pitching by Collins, Farris, and Schultz carried Lakeview.

West Mansfield received good hitting from Tevis and Harshfield.

FARM LEAGUE:

Huntsville #3 defeated Lakeview #1 17-9.

Austin Eaton, Kage Watson, and Michael Beale combined for twelve strikeouts in the win.

Troy Carter went four for four with four RBI's.

Michael Beale had three hits and drove in four runs.

Collin Wagoner doubled.

Belle Center #2 Advanced Technology Products nipped Ridgemont #1 12-11.

For Belle Center, pitchers Isaac Bednarki, Hunter Parmer, Andrew Bickham, and Curtis Hinkle teamed up for fourteen strikeouts.

Hinkle had three hits and three RBI's.

Jakoby Johnson and Bednarki each recorded two hits.

Wyatt Bishop doubled.

For Ridgemont, Andrew Freshcorn had three hits, including a home run.

Darrian Bricker, Trenton Myers, Cole Weyant, Trace Racey, and Dillon Bricker had extra base hits.

West Liberty #2 outscored Lakeview #2 14-10.

Dylan Leopard belted a pair of homers in the win.

Hayden Stidham recorded two hits.

For Lakeview, Ethan Zorn and Cody Bair had two hits apiece.

14U SOFTBALL:

All-Around Awards stormed past Quincy 13-1.

Jascey Vermillion tossed a two-hitter to earn the win.

Maryann Crowley had two doubles and a triple.

Jessica Smith belted two triples.

Bethany Lasseter added a hit.

10U SOFTBALL:

Lakeview #2 (C&S Farm Market) breezed past Rushsylvania 21-7.

Olivia Amspaugh was the winning pitcher and Abbi Siebeneck had an excellent game.

DeGraff #1 (DeGraff Creamery) defeated Lakeview #1 (Moose Lodge) 8-4.

For DeGraff, Molly Worrell had three hits and two RBI's.

Helena Faulder belted a triple and drove in a run.

Kelby Strapp had a hit and an RBI.

Lauryn Davis and Hannah Kilgore combined for seven strikeouts.
