The Miami Valley All-Star Game is tonight at Welcome Stadium in Dayton. The game will feature seven Logan Countians. Bellefontaine's Jason Brown is the head coach of the North team. Chieftain offensive line coach Chris Schmidt is one of Brown's assistants. (Audio interview included.) Five local players have been selected to play for the North. They include Bellefontaine running back Sean Egler, Chieftain defensive end Mitch Wren, Indian Lake wide receiver Tyler Maddox, Benjamin Logan wide receiver Shane Quay, and Riverside defensive back Seth Parker. Listen to Coach Brown talk about each local all-star. Admission is $5 and kickoff is set for 7:30. Each team has a 45-man roster. The game will be carried live on Channel 7. Bellefontaine standout and Bowling Green recruit Keith Morgan will play in the annual Ohio North-South All-Star Game tomorrow afternoon at Ohio Stadium. Morgan is just the fourth Chieftain to ever play in the North-South Game. Jesse Williams, Gail Clark, and Jorrell Johnson played in the summer showcase. Morgan will play defensive back for the South. As usual, the contest will feature several Division I recruits. Kickoff will be at four o'clock. |
