Man arrested after making threats at local hotel Print E-mail

bellefontaine_police_badge_on_11-07.jpgThe Bellefontaine Police Department arrested a Montpelier man at the Comfort Inn just before midnight last night.

Officers report that Don Brown, Jr., 28, was threatening a desk clerk with a knife.

He was charged with aggravated menacing.

Police say that Brown was heavily intoxicated and became upset when he was asked to leave the bar area.

He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.

No one was injured.
