Director Tim Harman recently received a $1,000 check from the Marysville Walmart Supercenter. The chapter has set a goal of $75,000 for the Marysville Ride For Kids, slated for July 26 during Honda HomeComing. "With this donation and several others from local area businesses and individuals, we are on our way," said Harman, also a local Bellefontaine business owner. The Marysville Ride For Kids is the official 2008 charity of Top of Ohio Wings. It will benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF), which is the largest non-governmental funding agency for pediatric brain tumor research in the world. The chapter has several upcoming fund-raising events planned, including Fill the Helmet Day scheduled for July 12 at the Bellefontaine Walmart Supercenter. |
