Logan County Engineer Scott Coleman announces that crews from the Logan County Highway Department will be chip-sealing three roads next week.

Work is planned June 16th through June 20th, weather-permitting.

Roads that will be chip-sealed include:

County Road 48 from County Road 12 to State Route 292 on Monday.

County Road 20 from County Road 12 to the Union County Line on Tuesday through Friday.

County Road 2 from County Road 5 to State Route 292 on Friday.

The roads will be under construction from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. each day.

The roads will remain open to emergency vehicles and local traffic only (no thru traffic).

Drive carefully; there will be unmarked no passing zones and fresh tar and loose stone.

The Shelly Company will be resurfacing a local road on Thursday.

Crews will be working on Township Road 133 from County Road 142 to the Union County Line.

The road will be under construction from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Watch for unmarked no passing zones and drop-offs along the edge of the road.

All four of these roads are in the northeastern part of the county.
