Gregory Jameson
Bellefontaine freshman Gregory Jameson received a prestigious honor at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland on Sunday. 

The scholar was recognized for his scores on the SAT and ACT. He scored a 760 on the math portion of the SAT.

540 students from 90 countries were honored at the ceremony. 

Jameson was honored as one of the most academically gifted students at the university's Grand Awards Ceremony.

He was the only person from Ohio to be given this top honor and was recognized on stage by Dr. Lea Ybarra, executive director of the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth.

Gregory has helped the Mathcounts team at Bellefontaine Middle School win several awards.

He is the son of Tom and April Jameson.
