Thirty-eight children participated in the free Wednesday morning program in which volunteers gave information from "rigging a rod," to answering, "what is a watershed?"

Children completing all presented sessions received free fishing poles.

The participants who caught the three largest fish also took home a tackle box.

First place went to Taylor Patrick with her bass weighing over one pound.

Second place was given to Aaron Wisner with a 12 and 5/8 ounce catch.

Third place went to Lexi Stewart who caught three fish with the largest being 6 ounces.

Among volunteers was Don Jones, a City of Bellefontaine firefighter and also Director of the Ohio Division of Fishers for Men.
