Raiders Acme teams split, Lady Hurricanes sweep two doubleheaders Print E-mail

Finals included:

Acme

Benjamin Logan played at Urbana University and fell to Olentangy Liberty 11-7.

Trent Kuhn led the Raiders with two hits, including a double.

Dustin Craig recorded two hits.

Matt McKirahan, Donnie Stover, Logan Coleman, and Jacob Barns added hits.

The Raiders are 7-4.

Junior Acme

Benjamin Logan defeated Northwestern 5-2.

The Raiders held the Warriors to three hits.

T.J. Rose led the offense with two hits, including a triple.

Matt Cira was 2-for-2 with a double.

Artie Zell went 2-for-2.

Chase Anspach and Jon Mobley doubled.

Benjamin Logan is 5-2 and will play at Beavercreek this weekend.

Bellefontaine outhit Lima Bath, but lost 8-7 at Blue Jacket Park.

Nate Brisson and Garrett Pickering each had two hits.

Bellefontaine will host a round-robin tournament at Blue Jacket this weekend.

They will play Greenville tonight at six o'clock and then will battle Dublin Coffman tomorrow morning at ten o'clock and take on Vandalia Saturday afternoon at five-thirty.

The Chiefs will travel to Celina Sunday for a doubleheader starting at one o'clock.

Indian Lake (Design Original) fell 3-2 vs. St. Marys.

Trevor Jacobs and Ben Frey pitched well.

Jonathon Schulz, Sammy Ramos, and Frey each had three hits.

Jacobs recorded two hits.

Dillion Johnston and Tyler McCullough each added a hit.

LITTLE LEAGUE

Bellefontaine #1 (Lions Club) outscored Zanesfield 12-6.

Devin Legge, Cody Hullinger, Evan McClure, and Collen Pulfer combined for seven strikeouts in the win.

Colton Wreede went 3-for-4 with a triple.

Devin Legge, Jordan Baughman, and Collen Pulfer had doubles.

Evan McClure and Josh Burton each had two hits.

For Zanesfield, Tristian Harshfield, David Nease, and Jacob Kuhn teamed up for six strikeouts.

Austin Ahle blasted a home run.

Tristian Harshfield and Robby Eleyet collected two hits apiece.

Bellefontaine #6 (Thompson Electric) slid by Washington 7-4.

Nick Ruble tossed a complete game to earn the win.

John Kirby went 3-for-3 with a double and scored three times.

Daniel Boy was 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI's.

Storm Harman added a hit and drove in two runs.

For Washington, L.J. Henderson blasted a home run.

Reyse Wallbrown had two hits.

Kyle Roby tripled.

Ivan Reichert recorded a hit and two RBI's.

Bellefontaine #5 (Exchange Club) edged Lakeview 6-5.

Dalton Short, Troy Pursley, Andrell Roberts, and Cam Henry combined on the mound for Exchange Club.

AJ Gorham was 3-for-3 with a game-winning inside-the-park home run.

For Lakeview, Ball and Collins were both 2-for-3 with doubles.

Bellefontaine #3 (AcuSport) outslugged Rushsylvania 17-12.

Andrew Mitchell, Brady LeVan, and Joe Oliver teamed up for ten K's in the win.

Xavier Brown went 2-for-3 with a triple.

Kodey Conner had two hits and three RBI's.

Jarrod Houchin and Brady LeVan each had two hits and two RBI's.

Andrew Mitchell and Joey Oliver recorded two hits apiece and Michael Stevens doubled.

For Rushsylvania, Tanner Rader struck out three.

Hunter Colwell had two hits and three RBI's.

Anthony Roberts tripled and drove in three runs.

East Liberty/Middleburg handled West Mansfield 14-1 in four innings.

Dalton Greene and Cody Rice combined for nine strikeouts in the win.

Josh Hardman was 3-for-3 with four RBI's.

Jeremy Brisson tripled.

Eric Cook and Josh Vinson collected hits.

Kyle Ackley had two RBI's.

T-BALL

In a make-up game from earlier this week, Lakeview #2 (Stanley's Asphalt Seal Coating) raced past Belle Center #2 31-18.

Chance Miller homered and drove in two runs in the win.

Cole Driscol tripled.

Kaleb Weirick had a double and three RBI's.

Logan Ingle and Kevin Heyman each drove in three runs.

Jaiden Lawrence and Jarrett Monroe had two RBI's apiece.

Wyatt Maine drove in a run.

SOFTBALL

16U

The Indian Lake Lady Hurricanes won a pair of doubleheaders this week.

Indian Lake beat Lima Shawnee 9-1 and 8-1.

In the first game, Caitlin Jordan struck out seven to earn the win.

Krista Young, Jenna Jordan, and Taylor Manahan had triples.

In the second game, Jenna Jordan had five K's.

Young had another triple and Kayla Thieman had a double.

The Hurricanes then swept Benjamin Logan 17-2 and 19-5.

In the first game, Kerstin Harmon handled the pitching duties.

Young went 2-for-2.

Harmon had a triple and Lauren Bycynski recorded a double.

In game two, Bycynski was the winning pitcher.

Caitlin Jordan had three hits, including a double.

Grace Peoppelman, Brittany Golliday, and Bycynski had two hits apiece.

Harmon added a double.

SENIOR LEAGUE

Butler's Spouting edged Dairy Queen 6-5.

Kinsey Harman was the winning pitcher with seven strikeouts.

Hannah Vance, Addie Brown, and Emma Earick shined on defense.
