At 6:37 p.m., Aaron Dynes, 36, Wilmington, was stopped at a stop sign on SR 720 at the SR 235 intersection. Dynes pulled his Chevy Silverado pickup westbound into the intersection, driving into the path of a Chevy Equinox driven by Robyn Hartman, 46, Lakeview. Hartman was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Indian Lake Squad, where she was treated and released. Dynes was cited for failure to yield from a stop sign. At 8:01 p.m., Michael Maxson, 44, Conover, lost control of his Dodge Ram pickup while traveling southwest on SR 235 near SR 366. Maxson went off the right side of the road, came back on the road, went left of center, and then left the right side of the road again, striking a utility pole. The accident caused a power outage in the area and the road was closed for approximately 3.5 hours. Maxson was cited for OVI and failure to control. He was not injured. At 10:30 p.m., with a trooper on site controlling the area waiting for the power to be restored, Brittany Severt, 22, Marion, drove through the controlled area, leaving the road and entering the grass, ending up in the previous accident scene before being stopped. Severt was also cited for OVI. |
