A couple of local teams hit the diamond last night.

Finals included:

Acme

Bellefontaine Powerbuilt defeated Triad 11-3 at Blue Jacket Park.

Senior Zach Mosbarger went the distance to earn the win.

Mark Duffy powered the offense with a home run and a double.

Josh Kauffman and Mosbarger each recorded a double and a triple.

Jace Mills and Adam Skelly had two hits apiece.

Powerbuilt is 21-5.

The Acme sectional tournament opens later this week at Blue Jacket Park.

SOFTBALL

Lakeview #1 (Indian Lake Moose Lodge) lost to West Liberty #1 13-12.

Ashley Holycross suffered the loss and struck out eight.

Lakeview finished third in the tournament and 7-3 during league play.
