Youth from all around the county show-cased their best livestock in the show arena in an exhibition that lasted until nearly 3:00 p.m.

Market Gilts and Market Barrows were the highlight of this year's swine show. (Photos and audio interview included.)

A 16-year-old junior from Benjamin Logan High School, Steven Watson, took Grand Champion with his Market Gilt. Steven's hog won the Heavy Weight class before taking the title of Grand Champ. Steven said that he knew his hog was built very sound in muscle and body.

Reserve Grand Champion Market Gilt went to Tyler Myers. Tyler's hog received second place in the Heavy Weight class. Tyler is 13-years-old and will attend Benjamin Logan Middle School this fall as an 8th grader.

In the Market Barrows, Morgan Zumberger took Grand Champion with her Heavy Weight class hog. Morgan recently graduated from Riverside High School and plans to attend Columbus State Community College this fall.

13-year-old Morgan Allen came in at the Reserve Champion with her Heavy Weight hog. Morgan will be in the 8th grade this fall at Benjamin Logan Middle School.
