Officers responded Wednesday morning to a report of marijuana plants growing in the backyard of 229 North Elm Street.

Police say four plants were found growing next to the garage.

Curtis L. Douglas, 41, and Rita Douglas, 37, along with their son, Curtis J. Douglas, 15, were each issued summons for cultivating marijuana.

The son told police he found the seeds and decided to plant them.

The plants were seized as evidence.
